Internal Door
Internal flagpoles offer security. They come with a flagpole door which includes a locking mechanism. This helps prevent halyard & flag theft. Our Internal Door has a security screw and driver design.
Helpful Tips:
When removing the door to your flagpole with the internal driver (provided) simply turn ¼ to ½ turn. This allows the tab (behind the door) which secures it to the pole, enough rotation to remove the door so you can access the halyard and cam cleat inside.
Endless turning of the driver will release the screw from the locking nut that holds the tab in place and will require replacement as those parts will fall into the pole.
For Large Flagpole Doors 50′-100′
Large Doors are made to the curvature of the pole it goes on. You will need to know the size of your flagpole to ensure proper fit. If you are unsure of the height of your flagpole, this can be easily calculated with the circumference of the butt end of the pole at ground level.
- Accurately measure the circumference (measurement around the pole) at ground level in inches.
- Divide this measurement by pi (3.14)
- This gives you the diameter of your flagpole. Using the diameter we can make a determination of the height of your flagpole as each butt diameter is unique to our flagpoles.
